£2,104.45 has been raised so far. Our target is £5,000.

This is an ongoing fund to help towards new lighting and decorating in the Church, due to take place in summer 2027. Donations can be made through the Retiring Collections twice a month, and by the Maintenance Fund option on the MyDona Machine in the porch area.

For peace in our world and in our hearts: That, inspired by St Francis, we may be instruments of God’s peace, and that we may welcome the peace of the risen Christ— unarmed and disarming, humble and persevering. May we trust in the God who loves us all, unconditionally, and become bearers of His peace wherever we are.

For mental health ministry: Let us pray that mental health ministry be established throughout the Church, helping to overcome the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses.

Intention for the New School Year: God of wisdom and might, we praise you for the wonder of our being, for mind, body, and spirit. Be with our children as they begin a new school year at St John Vianney and Bishop Ullathorne. Bless them and their teachers and staff. Give them the strength and grace as they grow; wisdom and knowledge to their minds as they search for understanding; and your peace and zeal in their hearts. ​

For the Care of Water: Let us pray for a just and sustainable management of water, a vital resource, so that everyone may have equal access to it.
