Altar Serving & The Guilt of St Stephen

Picture
Our parish has a great team of dedicated young people who serve at Mass regularly. Some of the youngsters are in primary school and others have moved on to secondary education and further education.  We also have two more senior altar servers.

After a period of experience and some training, servers are invited to become members of the Guild of St. Stephen. By taking on membership of the Guild, the servers make promises to serve Christ faithfully through their ministry as a way of expressing their baptismal vocation. Having being enrolled in the Guild, they are eligible to wear the medal of the Guild of St. Stephen every time they serve at Mass.

The parish is always keen to recruit new altar servers.  If you would like to take part in this parish ministry, please speak to Father Des or Deacon Andrew Lansberry.
