SJV Catholic Youth Group
RETURNS 23RD APRIL 2018
Our Youth Group meet in the Parish Hall on Monday evenings
6.30pm-8.30pm during term-time
Suitable for Year 7 and upwards.
We offer a friendly and safe environment for young people to gather together and have fun.
Some of our activities include: Games, Team building, Night prayer, Fundraising, Bowling, Theatre trips and Themed parties.
Come along and meet new friends.
Last week at youth group we said farewell to one of our young leaders Samantha. Samantha has been attending youth group since she was 11 years old. The last 2 years she has been helping as a leader, helping with tuck, organising games and helping to prepare for night prayer. Samantha has been such an asset to our Youth group and is going to be missed by us all. She is following her dream of been an Air Stewardess, and is working for Tui, she has started her 3 months training at East Midlands Airport. We wish her all the very best in her new career.
This week at youth group the children and families were invited to spend some quiet time in our church with Father Jonathon, where we prayed in front of the Blessed Sacrament, this was such a special time for us all.
Also a reminder that we need the children’s copies of the code of conducts that we’re given out last year.
